HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year to London, Seattle, Colorado and anywhere else there are people reading this! We had an amazing, crazy, fun new year's eve in London. We rode the "tube" into town yesterday, and went to the London Natural History museum which is one of the most beautiful buildings I have seen (go to our flickr albums at the top right to see pictures of the building and the dinosaur exhibit we saw there). Then we went back to the hotel, and got ready for our night out on the town. We went on a dinner cruise up and down the river Thames - we started at Big Ben and the Parliament building, went down under the London bridge and beyond. Then we parked out on the water and watched the fireworks that they shoot off from the London Eye and a boat on the river. It was absolutely amazing! One of the best fireworks shows I have ever seen and SOOO many people out by the river that the cheering was so loud! holy smokes! After the boat ride we had to hike forever to get back to a tube station because many of them were shut down, we aren't sure why but our guess is that they want to force a brisk night walk in hopes that people will walk off the alcohol - we didn't see that it was working too well for most - but it definitely made many of the girls wish they had worn different shoes. Once we all recovered today we went to Harrods - where we couldn't afford a thing, spent a little more time in town and headed back to the quiet village where Jamie and Kris live - glad to be back.

We hope that you all had as wonderful of a new year's eve as we did!! We have high hopes that 2007 is going to be great!
