Our first check-up

Carter had his first doctor check up today and he did great! He is now 9 lbs 15 oz (50th percentile) and 23 1/4 inches long (95th percentile!!). He did have to get a shot which was pretty traumatic, and next time we have to get 4 so we are not looking forward to that. He has been pretty cranky the rest of the day, and I am sure it is because he is remembering back to that long needle stuck into his leg! In other news we have gotten 5 or more straight hours of sleep the past 3 nights!! Hooray! I couldn't believe it when I woke up yesterday morning and the clock said 4:00 - which meant that we had just slept for 5 and a half hours! Good job sleeping little man - mom really appreciates it!
