30 Weeks

Well 30 weeks down and about 10 to go before we have a baby on the outside (or about 6 weeks to go if I follow the trend of my family for early delivery)!! We are getting very excited to meet Carter! We need to get some actual furniture for the nursery so that is our current task - all we have right now is a mattress and a rug which just aren't going to cut it I don't think. Kenai loves the rug and thinks it might be a big bed or play area for her- she may be in for a bit of a shock when this baby is born. One thing that I love is how the baby in the little tracker to the right just floats along in its pretend uterus - well our baby does not just float around. He moves all over the place most days (and nights) and I can't believe how strong he is getting; there are some of his movements that shake my entire body! Someone told me today that the times when their baby was active in the womb was when she was the most fussy on the outside which is bad news for us if that is true because this little guy is action packed! But I love it and am glad to report that other than feeling tired and having sore hips when I sit too long in one position I feel great and am glad to have been blessed so far with what my doctor called a "textbook pregnancy"! Lets hope the rest goes just as smoothly!
