Let the rib kicking begin!

We are almost at 26 weeks and our little baby has been awfully active these past few days - which I LOVE (except for the occasion kick that makes me gasp a little in shock and pain). Last night Brad was feeling him kick, poke and prod and there was a couple of kicks that were so strong I thought it was Brad pushing from the outside, but when he said "WOW!" I figured it must be the baby. It is pretty amazing because now I am getting to where I can tell where the baby is in there sometimes. It is funny because he seems to like to lay on the left side of his little apartment - I can feel his weight pushing out on the left side of my belly a lot. Also the movements are getting higher and I have felt a couple of nudges to my ribs - not kicks yet thankfully because I hear those aren't so comfortable. Maybe Carter is going to take it easy on me and not kick my ribs! I can't believe we only have 100 days to go (according to the due date although I realize that is only so accurate and he will come when he wants - we just keep telling him "not yet!"). We are getting so excited to get to meet and hold him and are praying that God helps us to be good parents! Brad is almost done with the nursery and then we will post some pictures - it looks AWESOME!!! Even better than I imagined it - It helps to have a designer for a husband!!!! All we need now is some furniture and a baby! Anyway - that is the update for now! Happy Holidays!!!
