How to get to "Fear" of the Lord

Proverbs 2:1-5
1
My son, if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you, 2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, Lift your voice for understanding; 4 If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will discern the fear of the LORD And discover the knowledge of God.

Yesterday, I learned that our attitude should be based on our "fear" of God. And the first question that entered my mind was how to I cultivate a healthy "fear" of the Lord. Well the passage that I read today in Proverbs 2 answered my question almost point blank. It says that we are to seek after Wisdom and Understanding. But we are not on our own, we can ask God to grant us these things. But our hearts should be in such a state that we are seeking them like a precious gift. Like a treasure hunter who's whole purpose if finding his prize. If we seek earnestly after wisdom and understanding we will grow to "Fear" that Lord. And that is a good place to be.

In the place of wisdom and understanding, what is it that I'm really seeking in life?
